Helping children and families reach their dreams at the Dream Center!

Join us on July 5th 2012 as we begin our work on the Dream Center in Salt Lake City.  Each week the Dream Center supports almost 100 students in after school tutoring, art and music classes, and anti-gang mentoring.  The Dream Center feeds and clothes over 400 individuals weekly through their charitable donations to the refugee population.  This center has become a model for many other centers nationally as it serves as a beacon of hope for those who are destitute and in need of education and humanitarian aid in crisis.  For more information about the Dream Center click here!

On July 5th a special launch on the Dream Center makeover will begin combined with the efforts of the Grammy nominated indie-band Foster the People's community service program.  Called "Foster The Future" (fosterthefuture.com/saltlakecity.html), the service arm of the band was established to help inspire and encourage volunteerism across the states on their upcoming tour.  They also have an emphasis on saving the arts and promoting art education.  Foster The Future's goals align perfectly with the goals of Heart 2 Home and will create great synergy on July 5th!  Join us for a community carnival and BBQ as well as a tremendous service opportunity!
July 5th we will be completing these projects with a larger makeover scheduled for September 10th!

Report: Sub 4 Santa Efforts

This December Heart 2 Home provided Christmas for over 45 families in need!  This is the 3rd year in a row that we have participated in an outpouring of love for Utah families struggling to celebrate the season due to hardship, domestic violence or loss.

Join us next year in our efforts to share the love during the holiday season.

Porter Hancock Home Makeover!

Porter Hancock suffered a dislocated neck in a freak high school football game on October 7, 2011. In just weeks, friends, family and the community have built him a brand new home from the ground up that will accommodate the wheelchair needs and rehabilitation his challenges and disability will require.Heart 2 Home will be assisting with furnishing and decor!  Porter returned home December 13th.  We were excited to support the incredible efforts of this new home!
